Formula Run
The Formula Run is a one lap event taking place November 3rd at the world-class facilities of the Circuit of The Americas track in Austin, TX. A fun and special opportunity to run the track 2 weeks before the inaugural Formula 1 race. The run on the track is slightly less than 3 1/2 miles and just over a standard 5K. This event is an experience for any runner from beginner to elite. Be First On The Track!
Formula Run Kid’s Dash!
Race down the straight away of the Circuit of The Americas track between Turn 20 and Turn 1 in the Formula Run’s Kid’s Dash! The Kid’s Dash will be approximately .5 miles. Each child will receive a participant ribbon with entry. Ages 12 and under.

Whom do I contact to volunteer my time to support this Formula-Run foot race? I have a bad leg and cannot actually run in the race. However, I can support the race prior to the Nov 3 race date (registration, packet pickup, etc.) or on the actual race date.
I just need to know whom to contact for volunteer schedule information.

is this a timed event with age group awards?

Formula Run is not a standard 5k and will not be timed. But speed around the track!
Will we have to pay for parking at the track for this event, or will parking be free there?

Are we allowed to use Launch Control at the start, as well as, Drag Reduction System down the high speed straight? :>)
Just to confirm, you can only register at Racetex Nov. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd? Or are there other ways to register such as online?

Can a parent run/walk with their child for the kids dash if they are under 3?

I see that there is one spectator pass per registrant. Is there an option to purchase additional spectator passes?
Only one spectator pass will be given to each registrant. There will not be any spectator passes for purchase.
