Chris Kimbrough, the 42-year-old mother of five from southwest Austin, won her second consecutive national masters road championship on Sunday. Kimbrough, who won the national 8-K title two weeks ago in Williamsburg, Virginia, added the national masters 10-K road crown to her growing collection of honors.
Kimbrough took the USATF masters division of the Dexter-Ann Arbor Run in Michigan in 35:41. Cassie Henkiel, 40, of Austin was second to Kimbrough in the national championships with a time of 37:20.
