“Lets Promote the Prevention of Adolescent Obesity Together!”
Our service mission is to help decrease adolescent obesity across the United States by creating outlets for families to become more engaged, active and educated in the areas of wellness and fitness.
The “Active America 5K /Kids-K and Education Expo” on 3 March 2012 will take place at Williamson County Regional Park, and will be a time for families to come together and participate in positive, life-changing activities. Through the event we plan to educate children and parents in personal fitness and nutrition, as well as motivate children to look for opportunities in the Austin area to become involved in the numerous physical activities our community has to offer.
