6th Annual Chapa 5K Challenge

The 6th Annual Chapa 5K Challenge is an initiative to promote lifelong fitness for school age children and their families. A portion of the proceeds will be awarded to a school within Hays CISD to benefit their PE program and or after school fitness programs. The course is certified. You can expect some hills for a bit of a challenge.

5K Race Fees:

Elementary Students $5

Middle and High School Students $10

18 and over $15

Divisions: Elementary School, Middle School, High School, 18–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65+

Awards will be given in each category (1st, 2nd and 3rd) as well as the school with the most participants.

A t-shirt will be given to all paid race participants(shirt size is guaranteed for pre-registered runners only)

We will also have two  Zumba classes from 9:00-11:00. Zumba for adults and ZumbAtonics for kids )ages 4-12). If you register for the run, you can Zumba for free. If you just want to Zumba, you can pay onsite ($5).
